Call for Papers
CAUSummit 2027 invites researchers, engineers, architects and planners to submit abstracts in civil engineering, architecture, urban planning, and the earth and environmental sciences. Present your work in Sofia and publish with the congress.

Download the Word template
Prepare your abstract in the official congress template. Do not change the formatting, fonts or spacing.

Write your abstract
A concise, factual abstract of 250–500 words stating the purpose of the research, the principal results and the major conclusions. It must stand alone, without references.

Submit online
Create an account and upload your abstract through the online submission system. Each participant may submit up to three abstracts.
- 04
Receive your decision
Accepted abstracts receive an official acceptance letter with a reference number (CAUS2027-XXXX) within days of the decision.
Where your work appears.
Abstract book
All accepted abstracts are published in the congress abstract book, distributed to all participants.
Proceedings
Full-text submission is optional. Accepted full texts are published in the congress proceedings, submitted for indexing in prestigious academic indexes.
Peer review
Every full text passes a preliminary editorial check, a plagiarism and similarity check, and independent double-blind expert peer review.
You may participate with an abstract only, without a full text. One registration fee includes one full-text publication free of charge; each additional published article is charged at €220 (€250 after the early-bird period).

Authors of the papers are responsible for any conflict of interest and/or plagiarism. The publisher of proceedings is allowed to decline any article with high similarity index (more than 10%) after the submission deadline and peer review process. CAUSummit does not accept responsibility for this, and the fee is not eligible for refund, because there is a charge on the side of the publisher for all processed articles. Additionally, pay attention to self-plagiarism of your submitted articles with other submissions to journals and conference proceedings.
Peer review policy & plagiarism checks
All submitted fulltexts will undergo a three-step review process: preliminary check, plagiarism check, and independent expert peer review. The congress uses double-blind reviews by internal and mostly external reviewers.
The articles are checked by means of plagiarism and similarity index in the 1st step of the review process. If the plagiarism is not detected and similarity index is lower than 10% (and the similarity index from a single source must be less than 4%), the fulltext is then sent out for peer review. According to the reviewers' reports, the editorial office decides whether or not the fulltext should be published (based on quality and relevance to the congress), and to improve the article before publication.
